About the Organization : CLT India (Regd. as Childrens Love Castles Trust), founded in 1997, is a not-for-profit EdTech organization working in the field of education to help teachers and students in government schools in remote and rural areas, access high-quality digital educational resources in STEM via its e-Patashale program. Through this program, CLT India is addressing the challenges of teacher shortage, lack of subject matter expertise in STEM, lack of access to the internet, and limited educational resources in rural schools, offering seasoned pedagogy to ensure effective learning. CLT India has built a large repository of 20,000 STEM videos in English, Kannada, and Hindi with additional resources such as lesson plans, real-time experiments, and assessments which get loaded on android Televisions along with data analytics for tracking usage. The current impact of the organization covers 14,400+ rural classrooms, 82,000+ teachers, and 2.75 million children. CLT India is driven by the philosophy that every child – no matter their circumstances – deserves access to a rich educational environment to be able to build their aspirations and dreams. By designing interactive pedagogy for critical subjects like Science, Technology, and Mathematics, and delivering by means of a purpose-built low-cost technological platform, the team at CLT India is working towards achieving better educational outcomes for underserved and remote communities, in partnership with caring partners.
