About the Organization : The Kalgidhar Society- Baru Sahib has been working tirelessly towards transforming the lives of rural children through the tool of Value–Based Education. At the same time, Society has placed equal focus on empowering women, providing health care, and ensuring social welfare for the vulnerable people in society. The Kalgidhar Society currently operates more than 129 rural schools across five states, providing quality education to over 70,000 children from impoverished backgrounds. The society’s mission is to empower children from marginalized communities, enabling them to break out of the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future for themselves and their communities. In addition, our organisation operates 2 Universities, a women’s educational skill development centre to empower rural girls, a 120–bed charitable hospital in the remote and rural hilly district of Sirmaur (HP), and 2 drug de–addiction centres.
Certification : 80G & 12A for domestic donations and Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) for foreign donations.
